Dear Program Director:

The Texas Association of Clinical Laboratory Sciences Conference is scheduled for March 30 – April 2.  Each year two scholarships are awarded to outstanding students in the State.  I am in hopes that you will inform your students of this opportunity.  Criteria for application include the following:

1. Full-time student enrolled or accepted in a CAHEA accredited Program in Clinical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology.

2. Full-time graduate students enrolled in a degree plan directly related to Laboratory Medicine.

3. Legal resident of Texas

4. Member of TACLS (achieved through membership in ASCLS).

5. Minimum of 2.8 grade point average.
