Clinical Chemist Faculty Position

Medical Laboratory Sciences Faculty Position

 

The University of Texas Southwestern Allied Health Sciences School is seeking an Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor to teach clinical chemistry lectures and laboratories and related courses to senior and junior medical technology students. The qualified candidate will coordinate senior students’ clinical chemistry practicum and participate in departmental activities, including student advisement, student recruitment, scholarship and service.

Qualifications include: MT(ASCP) and/or CLS(NCA) certification (chemistry specialization preferred) and a minimum of master degree (doctorate preferred). Extensive clinical lab experience, including a minimum of three years experience in a clinical chemistry lab (supervisory experience preferred). Prior teaching experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
