Technical Client Support Specialist - Medical Technologist

 

                                                 Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center in Houston, Texas is looking for an independent, analytical, decisive individual who puts a premium on accuracy, follow-up and follow-through to join us as a Technical Client Support Specialist. Our clients include hospitals, other blood centers, transfusion facilities and healthcare providers who rely on us to provide them with a wide range of laboratory and technical services. Through regular contacts and visits, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing the client's needs and working internally to develop solutions to meet those needs.

To be successful, you must have a high level of technical knowledge related to blood banking operations, strong and effective communication skills and the drive to both maintain current customers and expand business opportunities within the region. A Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science for medical technology (ASCP or equivalent certification) is strongly preferred; 1-3 years related supervisory or quality assurance experience/training.
